Hello, my name is Chris Pearson. I am 31 years of age and I am competing in this year’s Scottish Mini Cooper Cup and I am currently seeking sponsorship to help with the associated running costs. This isn’t a plea to help fund my hobby, I have serious aspirations to become a successful racing driver in the UK and in turn I’d like to offer you a great marketing opportunity.
In return for any support you can offer, we will work hard to ensure we maximise your return. Your company logo and branding can be a prominent fixture on the car, race suit and team clothing. Your company will also be listed in my driver profile on various websites and motorsport media.
Thousands of people come to watch our championship and due to the spectator friendly setup at Knockhill Race Circuit, all the spectators can see the cars up close and speak to the drivers. This would also pose as a perfect marketing opportunity. In addition to the exposure on any given race day, the championship has its own Sky TV coverage and website.
The car is also road legal and will essentially be used 7 days a week and will create a lot of public interest, similar to taxi cab advertising. The car would also be available for you to utilise at any promotional events and I will be running track days/evenings where I can provide a “race experience” for yourself and your staff/clients and can also provide tuition. For the rest of the 2009 season I don’t require a huge investment, just a company that will enthusiastically support my racing career and to potentially build a relationship for many seasons to come. |
